Silicon Valley International School experienced a year of successes during the 2023-2024 academic year. We saw an increase in support from the community and growth in fundraising in general.

INTL's community of parents, students, faculty, and staff rallied together to support the school through our events, volunteering, and fundraising.

Annual Fund

team

More than 60 parent and teacher volunteers took on the responsibility of peer-to-peer fundraising in their child’s class. Being an Annual Fund Champion is one of the more challenging volunteering roles, and most rewarding.

Thank You for an Amazing Soirée du Vin!

As a whole, Soirée du Vin this year was a great success. This event showcased that INTL has an incredibly tight-knit and well-bonded community that is fervently passionate about two things, wine and education.

A special thank-you goes to the 2023 speakers, Ed Sanders and Christian Pillsbury of Eden Rift Vineyards.

Thank you to everyone for supporting our school and coming to Soirée du Vin, and for those that couldn’t make it, we look forward to seeing you there next year for another magnificent evening!

impact

The live auction raised $45,500 for INTL's Charlotte de Géry Endowment Fund which will go towards ensuring that INTL is able to continue its mission of academic excellence indefinitely. On top of that, a gracious $16,000 was raised by the eventgoers for Fund-the-Future.

Annual Gala + Auction

team

The 2024 Annual Gala and Auction's theme was Golden INTL! From a beautiful Aston Martin presented at the entrance to enjoying french fries (one of 007’s favorites) as a late-night snack, everyone was transported to a world of glamour and intrigue.

This year’s Gala could not have happened without the support of our wonderful Gala Chair, Reena Wittig, who took to the stage to highlight the importance of cultivating a globally minded perspective, drawing parallels between James Bond's international adventures and INTL students' journeys as "international secret agents."

As the lively cocktail hour came to a close, guests made their way to their seats to watch a live James Bond themed performance from the school's middle school student "INTL Band" setting the stage for an evening filled with excitement and entertainment.

Fund-a-Need

One of the final lots of the night was INTL’s Fund-a-Need, a yearly initiative where a specific need is identified within the school. This year's Fund-a-Need raised $140,000 to train our faculty in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a powerful learning tool used in a responsible way.

impact

With the help of generous donors, bidders, and volunteers, the event raised $260,000, including $140,000 for Fund-a-Need.
